Membership Rates
We bill annually and/or semi-annually based upon expiration date, which is either June 30 or December 31. We pro-rate quarterly, meaning that new members paying the full year in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th quarter of the year receive a credit towards the next year’s dues; and new members paying the half-year dues in the 2nd or 4th quarter of the year receive a credit towards the next half-year period.

- A one-time* Local Initiation Fee of $40.00 is charged to each new member (except the Youth type) upon joining the Local.
- A one-time* Federation Initiation Fee of $65.00, retained by the AFM, is charged to each member (except the Youth type) who is new to the Federation.
- The Life member type is bestowed upon members who have reached 65 years of age and have at least 35 years of continuous membership in the Local.
- The Youth member type is available to members under 20 years of age. Local and Federation Initiation Fees are waived.
*From the bylaws (Art. VII, Sect. 4): Any member whose regular membership dues remain unpaid one year from the due date shall thereafter be required to re-affiliate under the same terms and conditions as a new member.
